Understanding how our transparent pricing works.
Our Billing Model
Two ways to pay. Pay-as-you-go: buy a Pro key once and top up when you run out, with optional auto top-up under a monthly cap you set. Or subscribe ($32/mo for 6,000,000 requests) for the lowest rate. Pay-as-you-go takes cards (Stripe) or crypto (NOWPayments); subscriptions are card only.

What Counts as a Request
Each call draws from your prepaid balance (Pro) or daily allowance (Free).
Subtitle search or download 1 request
Each call counts as one request, whether or not it returns a match.
AI subtitle translation (/translate) 1 request
Every key, free included. Any title with a subtitle in any language, in 80+ languages, for 1 request. Not on browser keys; refunded if it fails before output.
Two-language subtitles (dual=) +1 request
A Pro download option. 1 extra request per download, charged only when a matching second-language file is found.
Wyzie Synced (/sync) 5 requests
A Pro feature. Each successful sync costs 5 requests; a failed sync is not charged. Downloading the synced link then counts like any other download.
Wyzie Transcribe (/transcribe) 6,000 requests / 30 min
Pro. 6,000 requests per started 30 minutes of audio (45 minutes costs 12,000), charged at the start. Failures on our side are refunded; a file with no speech is still charged. Translating the result adds 25. Feeds and folders (up to 50) cost the sum of their items.
Speaker labels (speakers=1) 60,000 requests / 30 min
Pro. 60,000 per 30 minutes instead of 6,000, for German, English, Spanish, French, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Dutch, Portuguese or Russian audio.

Sound descriptions (sounds=1) +100 requests / 30 min
Pro, beta. Adds tags like [Music] and [Laughter] on top of the transcription price. If tagging fails you still get the transcript and the 100 back.
Fix Subtitles (/fix) 6,000 requests / 30 min
Pro. Corrects words, re-times and adds missing lines for 6,000 per started 30 minutes of audio, refunded if it fails on our side. A subtitle in the wrong language for the video stays charged.
Search by quote (/quote) Free, or 1 request on Pro
Free on free keys, 1 request on Pro. Finds the title a line of dialogue is from (up to 10 results). The keyless page at sub.wyzie.io/quote has a low cap.
Batch search (/search/batch) 1 request per item
Up to 50 titles per call, each priced like one search. Refused up front if your key can't cover it. Not on browser keys.
Extract embedded subtitles (/extract) 1 request per track
Every key. Send an MKV, MP4, WebM or MKS and get its text subtitle tracks back for 1 request; no usable track costs nothing.
Usage and balance (/usage) Free
GET /usage, the X-Wyzie-* headers on every response and the low-balance webhook never count against your balance.
Release matching (video, hash) No extra cost
Add the video's file name or its OpenSubtitles hash to a search and results come back best first, each with a match score. The search is still 1 request.
Webhooks (webhook=) Free
For Transcribe, Fix Subtitles and bulk jobs. We send one signed message when the job ends. A failed delivery never changes the price or the result.
Reused recognition Same price
If the same audio was recognised in the last 30 days, you get that text back at the normal price. Add cache=0 to skip reuse.
Browser-safe keys Billed to your account
Requests made with a browser key are charged to your Pro account like any other request, up to the daily cap you set on that key.
Top-Up Pricing
Base price is $0.06 per 5,000 requests. Bulk orders get a tiered discount that grows with order size, up to 35% off applied to the whole order.

How Billing Works
Choose a plan.
Free (personal email + captcha) or Pro ($5.00 once, card or crypto). Stripe's fee is passed through at cost.
Get your API key.
Shown on the confirmation page and emailed to the address on file. Pro keys start with 400,000 requests.
Use your requests.
Free: 1,000 per day, resets at midnight UTC. Pro: drawn from your prepaid balance, no daily cap.
Watch for 80% emails.
At 80% usage we email a one-click top-up link. With auto top-up on, a new pack buys itself below your threshold.
Top up when needed.
Pick any amount between 5,000 and 100,000,000 requests on the top-up page. Pricing follows the tier table above.
Good to Know
- Two ways to pay. A single $5.00 Pro key plus optional top-ups, or a monthly subscription at the best rate. Auto top-up runs only if you turn it on.
- Monthly spend cap. Auto top-up stops at a cap you set (up to $5,000 per rolling 30 days) until you raise it.
- Email alerts. At 80% usage and whenever an auto top-up runs, fails or needs 3D Secure.
- Refund policy. Digital service, so refunds are not standard. Real downtime on our side is credited as additional requests.
- Anti-abuse. Free keys need a verified personal email and a captcha, one key per person.
